Get ready to conquer the peaks with the Tri Peak Series brought to you by River Valley Runners!

Dive into a thrilling trio of races set in breathtaking landscapes, starting with the Mt. Magazine 15k on May 30, 2026 that promises to challenge and inspire. It's only ONE hill!! We start about a half mile from the school on dirt road and then it turns into paved road the rest of the way up to the top of Mt. Magazine. Once at the top, there will be a shuttle to get you to the bottom of the mountain - Or you can go a little extra an run down! What goes up must come down, right?

Early start for Mount Magazine is 6:30am!

Keep the adrenaline pumping with an all paved course 1.5 miles up Danville mtn and 1.5 down! Its a fast fun race up a mountain on June 20, 2026.

We wrap up the series with the deliciously named Mt. Nebo Chicken Fried 10k on August 29, 2026 .This is a paved course that starts at the bottom of Mt. Nebo at the Dollar General across the road. Once at the top, there will be a shuttle to get you to the bottom of the mountain - Or you can go a little extra an run down!

Where you earn the bragging rights along with some awesome swag for the finale!

Each race comes with a Shirt. There are custom medals made for each race. If you do all three races there is a final medal you receive for doing all three! Each year the design is different so we can keep you interested to come back for more!

Can't make a date? No sweat! Just complete the course on your own time, send us your triumph email and Strave/Garmin/Coros course mapping & time recording, and we'll make sure you get your well-deserved gear (THESE RACES HAVE TO BE COMPLETED ON THE OFFICIAL COURSE TO BE COUNTED IN THE TRI-PEAKS SERIES). RACE INFO:

This is a quick 1.5 mile out and back to the top of Danville Mountain. We will start in front of the Trinity United Methodist Church 2201 Main Street in Danville AR. and Finish in the parking lot of the Primera Iglesia Hispana.

This is a chip timed race you will need to cross the starting mat and finish mat in order to be recorded. Please make sure you have the chip securely attached to your shoe. (see image below for examples)

There is 1 water stop for this race at the turn around point at the top of the mountain.

We will have overall awards for the top 3 male and female finishers for both the runner and walker categories. We will also have top 3 age awards for 10 year increments 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+

Awards will begin @8:30a (we may start sooner if all runners are off course)

PARKING:

We will have parking available in the Little John's Cross Country practice field off of AR-80, we will have people directing traffic and helping to the parking area.

PACKET PICK UP:

We will have same day registration for the race and packet pick up day of only at the Primera Iglesia Hispana parking lot starting @5:45a and closing at 6:45a. Please make sure you plan to get there and get your packet so we can start the race promptly at 7a.
