Get ready for the excitement of the annual Dog Days 5K, happening on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the picturesque setting of Hudson, McLean! This lively event features a scenic course that weaves through a portion of Lake Bloomington's Inner-Loop, with both the start and finish lines conveniently located next to Green Gables. Runners of all ages are invited to participate in this thrilling race, which offers a distance of 5 kilometers.
With awards up for grabs for the overall male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers in a variety of age categories ranging from 8 & Under to 71 and Over, there’s plenty of incentive to lace up your running shoes! Remember to register early, as no discounts will be available starting July 1st, and race day registration will not be offered. Early pickup for race packets is available on Friday evening, July 10, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with additional pickup options on race day. Join us for a day filled with community spirit, healthy competition, and a lot of fun!
