Get ready to chug and run at the Fourth Annual Argenta Beer Mile, also known as the Dogtown Beer Down! This fun event is set to take place on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, in North Little Rock, Pulaski. Participants will drink four beers and run four laps on a designated course, all in style and as quickly as possible. The race starts at Argenta Plaza on Main Street, with multiple heats and prizes for the top male and female competitors, as well as for the most dramatic finish. Make sure to pick up your race packet at Flyway on October 11th or on race day at the Plaza on Main Street. Proceeds from the event will benefit Recycle Bikes for Kids, a great cause supporting children in need. Don't miss out on this exciting and unique event!

Join us Saturday, October 12th, for the Fourth Annual Argenta Beer Mile!
What is the Beer Mile?
***Drink 4 beers and run 4 laps on the designated course in style as quickly as you can.***
Each competitor drinks four cans of beer and runs four laps around a 1/4 mile course (start with chugging a beer, then run a lap, then beer, then lap, then beer, then lap, then beer, then lap - finish).
Beer must be consumed before the lap begins within the transition area. The transition area is the zone at the start/finish line for a mile race.
The race begins with competitors lined up on the mile starting line, drinking the first beer in the transition zone described in the step above. This ensures competitors cover a complete mile. Competitors can walk/move in the transition area while drinking, but all beer must be consumed in the transition area before setting off to run a lap.
Competitors must drink canned beer that is no less than 355mL (12 Oz) in volume, which is the standard can/bottle size in the USA and some other countries. The Root Beer Mile substitutes canned root beer.
Be sure to be ready to run at the time you have selected! Packet Pickup starts at 11:00 AM. Your heat will start at the time you selected.
The race start is in the Argenta Plaza on Main Street, downtown North Little Rock.
