Join us for the Donut Dash Trail Race, featuring a scenic 5K and 10K out and back course as well as a 4-mile loop course that showcases the beautiful Hill Country terrain. Participants can choose their challenge level: tackle 5K or 10K or the full 16-mile (four loops), take on the 8-mile (two loops), or enjoy the 4-mile (single loop) distance.
Our course winds through stunning natural landscapes, offering both beautiful views and rewarding challenges for runners of all abilities. Whether you're an experienced trail runner or new to off-road racing, our well-marked course provides the perfect setting for your next adventure.
Young athletes are a special part of our event! Each young runner experiences the thrill of crossing the same finish line as the adult racers. Parents wishing to accompany their child must be registered for one of the distances to ensure proper event coverage and safety. This event is perfect for competitive runners, families seeking an active adventure together, first-time trail runners, and ruck athletes alike.
Parents are welcome to run/walk the 5k course with their young children at no additional cost. Children must be registered and can accompany their parents for free.

We welcome runners of all ages and paces, making this the perfect family event. 4M Challenge -One loop of scenic course -Perfect for beginners -Ideal first-time ruck event 8K Challenge -Two full course loops -Intermediate distance 16M Challenge -Four full course loops -Advanced endurance event -Perfect ultra-training run For those seeking an extra challenge, join our last one and last rucker Standing division. This unique event combines the thrill of trail running with the discipline of rucking. RUCK DIVISION REQUIREMENTS Required Gear: Rucksack with reflective elements (GORUCK Rucker recommended, but any rucksack acceptable) Weight Requirements: Men: 20 lb (9.1 kg) Women: 10 lb (4.5 kg) Weights must be placed high in the rucksack, close to your back. Other requirements: -Hydration system -Trail-appropriate footwear -Weather-appropriate clothing Important Notes: Weight requirements are dry weights (water, food, and additional gear don't count) Weight checks conducted at start and finish Equivalent weights (e.g., weight vest plates) acceptable if properly secured Safety is paramount - proper packing required GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION: Park entry fees included in registration Post-race celebration Family-friendly environment Trail running community experience The Kids K (ages 8 and under) offers our youngest athletes a chance to experience trail running in a safe, supportive setting.
