Get ready to rock and run at the annual Dragon Dash 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, June 28th, 2025! Taking place in the charming community of New Palestine, Hancock, this vibrant event welcomes runners, walkers, and joggers of all skill levels to join in on the fun. This year, we're celebrating the fabulous 80s, so don your best legwarmers, neon attire, and big hair to truly embrace the spirit of the decade!
The festivities kick off at 8 AM, with registration starting at 7 AM at Town Hall. Participants can choose to tackle the full 5K or take a leisurely turn around for the 1 Mile course. While this is a fun run and not a professionally timed race, a clock at the finish line will keep track of your time. All registered participants will receive a stylish T-shirt (while supplies last), and finishers will have their pictures available for download. After crossing the finish line, enjoy complimentary water, bananas, and cookies! Plus, a portion of the funds raised will support various organizations and arts initiatives in our community. BREAK OUT THE LEGWARMERS, NEON AND HAIRSPRAY! COME DRESSED IN YOUR FAVORITE GEAR FROM THE 1980'S
