Event summary
Get ready for an exhilarating day of racing at the Eagle Chase Fire on the River 2026, happening on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, in the picturesque town of Prairie du Sac, Sauk! This exciting event features three race distances: the Half Marathon starting at 7:00 AM, followed closely by the 10K and 5K races beginning at 7:05 AM. Participants of all ages will have the chance to challenge themselves while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the Great Sauk Bike Trail.
As a special treat, all participants will be rewarded with a free breakfast, and finishers of the Half Marathon will receive medals to commemorate their achievement! Trophies will be awarded to the top overall finishers, along with medals for the first-place winners in each age group across all races. Don’t forget to pick up your race packet on Friday, July 3rd, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Sauk City Riverfront Park, or on race day from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM. Join us for an unforgettable day filled with fitness, community spirit, and celebration!

We will have all 3 runs (Eagle 5K, Eagle 10K, & Eagle Half-Marathon) on July 4th, 2026. The Start line will be on the Great Sauk Bike trail near the entrance of the Sauk City Riverfront Park and will finish behind the Police Station on Riviera Street
