Get ready for the 15th Annual East End Sizzler 10K and 5K on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the charming community of Hensley, Saline! This exciting event, organized by the Little Rock South Lions Club, is part of a heartfelt initiative to end childhood cancer. Both the 5K and 10K races will kick off at 8:00 AM, with registration opening at 7:00 AM, so make sure to get there early!
Participants will have the chance to earn awards for the top three finishers in each age category, ranging from 19 and under to 70 and above, for both the 5K and 10K. With a chip-timed format and a course time limit of 2 hours, runners of all levels can join in the fun! Plus, by participating, you’ll be supporting a fantastic cause; proceeds will benefit childhood cancer awareness and aid families at the Ronald McDonald House. Don’t forget to register by September 2, 2024, to secure your T-shirt in your preferred size. Join us for a day of community spirit, fitness, and a commitment to a great cause!

THE 15TH ANNUAL EAST END SIZZLER STRIDE TO END CHILDHOOD CANCER IS A 5K AND 10K IN HELD IN THE SMALL COMMUNITY OF EAST END, AR PUT ON BY THE LITTLE ROCK SOUTH LIONS CLUB.
REGISTRATION FOR THE RACE WILL BEGIN AT 7:00 AM AND ENDS 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE RACE STARTS.
THE 5K AND 10K WILL BOTH BEGIN AT 8:00 AM.
THIS WILL BE A CHIP-TIMED RACE.
THERE IS A COURSE TIME LIMIT OF 2 HOURS.
WE ARE AWARDING THE TOP 3 MALES AND FEMALES IN EACH AGE CATEGORY: 19 AND UNDER , 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. THIS WILL BE FOR BOTH THE 5K AND THE 10K.
