Join Eat Share for the 5K Food Fun Run on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 in Watsontown, Northumberland. This event is a unique celebration of food sharing in north central PA, featuring a race, costume party, luncheon, and more! Registration is $25 online until October 15th, or $30 on race day. The race will start and finish beside the Watson Inn at 10am, with a loop course through the borough. Top male and female finishers will receive brand new Stanley water bottles with gift cards inside. Spectators are encouraged to wear food-themed attire and can enjoy a live DJ and cheer on participants. Vendors, raffles, and lunch will be available at the Watson Inn after party. Support Eat Share's mission by bringing non-perishable food donations for additional raffle entries. Donated food will be provided to the Food Hub for community distribution. Join Eat Share as we celebrate food sharing in north central PA and fundraise towards our mission. It's a race, a costume party, a luncheon, a celebration--with a little something for everyone!
FOR RUNNERS/WALKERS
* registration available online through October 15th: $25. Race Day Registration: $30.
* race day registration and sign-in 8:30am - 9:45am
* race t-shirts available to all those who register by October 1st
* well drink tickets (soda & draft beer options) provided to all participants, redeemable at Watson Inn after party
* prizes for top male and female finishers: brand new Stanley water bottles with gift cards inside
Race will start and finish on First Street beside the Watson Inn, starting at 10am. The course is a loop through the borough with an inclined section going up Fourth Street, around the cemetery (with a view of town), and down First Street. Race must be completed by 12pm. Water/Snack table available at finish line.
FOR SPECTATORS
* food themed attire/costumes ENCOURAGED for all--we will keep the party going with a live DJ and cheer on participants as they end the race
FOR EVERYONE
* prize available for best dressed food attire/costume
* vendors & raffles available, starting at 8:30am
