Get ready for an uplifting day at the EdK Run on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, in Chambersburg, Franklin! This exciting event not only celebrates the spirit of running but also supports a noble cause: the LIVESTRONG program at Chambersburg YMCA, a transformative 12-week wellness initiative for cancer survivors. Participants can choose between a 1K Fun Run/Walk on the track for just $10, which includes registration, a snack bag, and a LIVESTRONG band, or tackle the 5K Walk/Run that starts and finishes on the track, with an entry fee of $25 that covers registration, a t-shirt, and a LIVESTRONG band.
Join us at the Dr. Edwin H. Sponseller Track & Field Complex at Trojan Stadium, located at 511 S. Sixth St., Chambersburg, PA 17201. Registration opens at 12:30 PM, followed by an inspiring Opening Ceremony at 1:45 PM, and the races kick off at 2:00 PM. This event is a wonderful opportunity for individuals of all ages to honor Ed's legacy and love for running, while encouraging others and spreading positivity. Choose your course, train with friends
