Organiser's Description
5K race for runners and walkers with a free kids' pre-race 1-mile fun run. Flat, out and back course on Karst Park Greenway Trail. Second annual race and part of the Mag 7 Series. T-shirts are available for the first 150 entrants who register by no later than September 10. Overall and age group awards to both 5K runners and walkers. Random drawings for door prizes after the race. Proceeds, after costs, will be used to sponsor future Ellettsville sporting or recreational events. Parking for the race will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church (501 E. Temperance Street), the west side of the Ferrellgas office (701 E. Temperance Street), Edward Jones Investments (5933 IN-46), Ellettsville Dental Center (5915 IN-46), Campbell's Park and along street in Mary Jane Lewis Park.
Race packet pickup will be at the following dates, times and locations:
Friday (9/20/2024) - 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM - At the shelter in Mary Jane Lewis Park (adjacent to Street Department building) Saturday (9/21/2024) - Starting at 7:30 AM - At the race site near the start/finish line
