Join us for the 4th annual Emma's Run on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, in the picturesque town of Sharon, Norfolk. This heartwarming event celebrates the life of Emma Greenspan, a spirited child who cherished the outdoors and the joy of running. Participants of all ages are welcome to take part in this uplifting day filled with fun and community spirit. Children can enjoy a FREE 0.1-mile dash or a 1.2-mile chip-timed run, while adults can tackle a challenging 5-mile run on a USATF certified course around the stunning Lake Massapoag or choose a leisurely 2.5-mile walk.

The festivities kick off at 8:00 AM with registration, followed by opening remarks and a moment of silence at 9:20 AM. The excitement continues with the kids' events starting at 9:30 AM and the adult races at 10:10 AM. After the races, join us for awards and a variety of fun activities, including face painting, bubbles, and nature crafts. The first 800 registrants will receive a commemorative Emma's Run t-shirt, and all proceeds directly support the Emma Greenspan Foundation. We can’t wait to see you

Organiser's Description

In honor and in memory of Emma Greenspan, please join us for the 4th annual Emma's Run. Emma was a kind and empathetic child who loved to play outside, appreciated nature, and loved running. Children can participate in the FREE kid's runs; a 1.2-mile chip timed run or a 0.1-mile dash. For adults, there is a 5-mile run on a USATF certified course around beautiful Lake Massapoag or a 2.5-mile walk. Additionally, there will be face painting, bubbles, a nature crafts table, a DJ, food, and lots of fun. The first 800 registrants, including children, will receive an Emma's Run t-shirt. All funds go directly to the Emma Greenspan Foundation. We look forward to seeing you on May 4th!
