WALK4INCLUSION is a cornerstone event within EQUALLYABLES NATIONWIDE INCLUSION EFFORTS, bringing communities together to advance dignity, access, and opportunity for people of all abilities.
The 2026 Walk4Inclusion takes place SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 2026, AT 9:00 AM AT FAIRFAX CORNER, featuring a TIMED 5K and an UNTIMED 1K FUN RUN. Proceeds directly support EquallyAbles mission to build a more inclusive society for people with disabilities and their families.
Join EquallyAble and the Fairfax community for WALK4INCLUSION 2026, a high-energy, all-abilities celebration of inclusion, movement, and belonging. Whether youre running for a personal best or walking alongside family and friends, this event invites everyone to participateat any pace.
_Our 1K Fun Run is specifically aimed at children with disabilities and their families. Weve moved the start time to 10:00 AM to allow for a more relaxed arrival, ensuring a supportive and celebratory environment for every participant._
Participants may choose:
* TIMED 5K, 9:00 AM for runners and walkers seeking an official finish time
* UNTIMED 1K FUN RUN, 10:00 AM* A joyful, untimed 1K designed for children and adults of all abilities. Bring the whole crewparents, grandparents, friendswalk, run, or roll. Strollers and wheelchairs welcome.
Walk4Inclusion is intentionally designed to be accessible and welcoming to all abilities. Every registration helps EquallyAble expand inclusive programs, advocacy, and support services that empower individuals to live with independence and purpose.
All participants receive an official EVENT T-SHIRT and FINISHER MEDAL. _T-shirt availability is guaranteed only for participants registered by March 15. Registrations after that date are welcome, but T-shirts (including size availability) are not guaranteed._
