Join us for the exciting Erath Cross Country 4th of July 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run on Friday, July 4th, 2025, at the beautiful Erath High School's Robert J. Segura Memorial Stadium in Vermilion. This festive event kicks off at 7:30 AM, inviting runners of all ages to participate in a spirited 5K race or a fun-filled 1 Mile Fun Run. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to celebrate Independence Day, this is the perfect opportunity to support the Erath High Bobcats' Cross Country Team while enjoying the holiday festivities!
Race day registration opens at 6:30 AM, with pre-registration available until June 27th for just $30. Late registration will be $35 until the day of the race. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as in various age divisions ranging from 5 and under to 70 and over. With water stations along the course to keep you hydrated, this event promises to be a fantastic way to celebrate the 4th of July with family, friends, and the local community. PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL'S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM AND ENJOY THE 4TH OF JULY FESTIVITIES AFTERWARDS!!
ENTRY FEE APPLIES FOR EITHER THE 5K AT 7:30 AM OR THE 1 MILE FUN RUN, WHICH WILL BEGIN AFTER THE LAST 5K RUNNER IS OFF THE COURSE. RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN AT 6:30 AM AT ERATH HIGH SCHOOL GYM RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE STADIUM.
