Join the excitement at the Erath Cross Country 4th of July 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run, taking place on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, in the beautiful town of Erath, Vermilion! Kick off your Independence Day celebrations with an invigorating morning run at the iconic Robert J. Segura Memorial Stadium. The 5K race will start at 7:30 AM, followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run, which will commence once the last 5K runner has crossed the finish line. This festive event is not just a race; it’s a fantastic opportunity to support the Erath Bobcat's Cross Country Team while enjoying a vibrant community atmosphere.
Participants can register on race day starting at 6:30 AM at the Erath High School gym, conveniently located across from the stadium. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual participant, you can choose between the 5K or the 1 Mile Fun Run. Pre-registration is available until June 26th for just $30, with late registration costing $35 until the day of the event. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as in various age divisions ranging from 5 and under
