Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 9th Annual Evansville Memorial Day Run/Walk, taking place on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the picturesque Garvin Park in Evansville, Vanderburgh. This exciting event is a wonderful opportunity to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. Participants can choose from a variety of race options including a 5K run/walk, 5K walk, 10K run/walk, and 10K walk, catering to all fitness levels and ages.
Join us for a day filled with community spirit, camaraderie, and celebration of our veterans. The festivities kick off at 8:00 AM with a pre-race ceremony and salute, followed by the start of the races. Kids ages 5-13 can also join in the fun with a special Kids Dash. Not only will participants enjoy a rewarding experience, but they will also contribute to a worthy cause, as 10% of all entry fees will benefit Rolling Thunder Indiana, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about POW/MIA issues.
