Over the course of just two days, participants will hike approximately 28 miles, starting from Aspen to Crested Butte on July 20th, and then back to Aspen on July 21st.

We invite you to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Freedom Fighters are a community of people passionate about expanding the fight against human exploitation. By joining the Expedition Rise Maroon Bells , YOU are a part of making someones freedom story possible.
Together, the Maroon Bells team will train for 5 months, the team collectively will fundraise $25,000*, and trek approximately 28 miles in 2 days. Supported by experienced team leads, you will receive resources and encouragement through your personal training and fundraising experience.
Freedom Fighters will trek through the Snow Mass Wilderness in Colorado in recognition of the ability we have to Rise and make a difference in human exploitation prevention, education, and response. The Team will hike from Aspen to Crested Butte on July 20th 2026, and will hike back to Aspen on July 21, 2026.

*$100 deposit is non refundable. Remaining registration is partially refundable (50%) before March 15. Beginning March 16, registrations are non refundable.

OPENS 31 DECYour investment includes 5 nights shared accommodations. ITINERARY: July 17 - July 19 July 17 ~ Fly in to Denver Airport, rent car to Aspen. July 18 & 19 ~ Spend the days acclimating to the higher Colorado elevation. July 20 ~ Hike from Aspen to Crested Butte, stay the night at the Nordic Inn July 21 ~ Hike back to Aspen via an alternate route July 22 ~ Drive back to Denver and return home You are responsible for your individual food, transportation to/from Denver International Airport and to Aspen. All registrants will be asked to fundraise as these hikes are a celebration of funds raised to fight human trafficking and end sexual slavery.
