Get ready for a day of fun and fitness at the Fairfield Flag Flyin' Fun Run on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in beautiful Fairfield, Spokane! Join fellow runners as they embark on an exciting race that starts at the corner of E. Main and S. Railroad. Participants will enjoy a scenic route running south on S. Railroad, with a left turn at Gov Moore St and a right on Truax Rd, before reaching the turn-around point at 1.5 miles. The course then leads runners back along Truax Rd, veering right onto S. McNeil Ave, and finally turning left on Main St for a thrilling downhill finish.

RACE STARTS AT THE CORNER OF E. MAIN AND S. RAILROAD. RUNS SOUTH ON S. RAILROAD AND TURNS LEFT AT GOV MOORE ST AND THEN RIGHT ON TRUAX RD. THE TURN-AROUND IS ABOUT 1.5 MILES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL. THE RETURN ROUTE IS BACK ALONG TRUAX RD UNTIL YOU GET TO S. MCNEIL AVE AT WHICH TIME RUNNER VEERS TO THE RIGHT UNTIL RUNNER GETS TO MIAN ST. AT WHICH TIME RUNNER TURNS LEFT AND RUNS DOWNHILL TO THE FINISH.

A wonderful small-town event that bring the community together and benefits the local high school cross country team. The course passes through rolling Palouse hills, but the road itself is flat. Very nice for a 5k out-and-back race, and when you cross the finish line the community is there cheering you on!
