Don’t forget to pick up your race packet on Friday, July 3, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lucky Road Run Shop, or on race day morning between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. With entry fees ranging from $35 to $45 depending on registration dates, all participants will have the chance to win awards in various age groups and compete for fun prizes like the best patriotic outfit. WELCOME BACK RUNNERS TO A _BRAND NEW LOCATION_ FOR THE ANNUAL FALLEN HEROES 5 MILER.
The new location will be held at James Monroe High School. With this amazing change, you will be able to run through the beautiful areas of the city of Fredericksburg. The race is sponsored by the Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes, a local non-profit organization that provides support to the veterans and first responders in need of assistance in the local community.
This is the 6th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix series in conjunction with the Fredericksburg Area Running Club.
The race will begin at the James Monroe High School parking lot.
Packet pick up: Friday, July 3, 2026 Time: 1-6 p.m.
Location: Lucky Road Run Shop 1865 Carl D. Silver Pkwy 22401
Packets will also be available the day of the race between 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at the parking lot of James Monroe High School. Please arrive early to retrieve your packet to be ready to start promptly. Race will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Bring your flags, your favorite red, white and blue shorts, tutus, socks, hats or anything that shows you are ready to show your patriotism. This event is associated with the FARC (Fredericksburg Area Running Club) through their Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series. Come out and run through the downtown areas of the City of Fredericksburg. This race is hosted by the Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes: a local non-profit that provides support to the Veterans and First Responders in need of assistance in our local community. The race will begin James Monroe High School in the parking lot. RACE STARTS AT 7:30 a.m. PROMPTLY Race Day Registration: July 4th: 6:30 a.m.7:00 a.m. .
