Participants can look forward to an early packet pickup on Friday, July 3, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Lucky Road Run Shop, or on race day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at the high school parking lot. The race kicks off promptly at 7:30 a.m., so be sure to arrive early! With entry fees ranging from $35 to $45 depending on registration dates, runners can also earn a free shirt by registering by June 7. WELCOME BACK RUNNERS TO THE ANNUAL FALLEN HEROES 5 MILER.
Come out and run the through the amazing streets of downtown Fredericksburg. The starting location will be held at James Monroe High School. The race is sponsored by the Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes, a local non-profit organization that provides support to the veterans and first responders in need of assistance in the local community.
This is the 6th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix series in conjunction with the Fredericksburg Area Running Club.
The race will begin at the James Monroe High School parking lot.
Packet pick up: Friday, July 3, 2026 Time: 1-6 p.m.

Packets will also be available the day of the race between 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at the parking lot of James Monroe High School. Please arrive early to retrieve your packet to be ready to start promptly. Race will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Bring your flags, your favorite red, white and blue shorts, tutus, socks, hats or anything that shows you are ready to show your patriotism. This event is associated with the FARC (Fredericksburg Area Running Club) through their Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series. Come out and run through the downtown areas of the City of Fredericksburg. This race is hosted by the Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes: a local non-profit that provides support to the Veterans and First Responders in need of assistance in our local community.
