Not only will you enjoy a fantastic race experience, but you'll also be supporting a great cause, as all proceeds go towards Open Door Community's mission to house and feed our neighbors.
But the fun doesn't stop at the finish line! From 12 PM to 6 PM, stick around for the Brews and Bands festival, co-hosted by the Open Door Cafe and the Wythe Arts Council. This lively festival will feature local musicians, delicious brews, mouthwatering food, and a variety of kid-friendly activities, including obstacle courses and bounce houses. Plus, complimentary refreshments will be available at the start and finish lines of the 5K! With awards for the top three male and female finishers, the Fast & Fiorini 5K promises to be a day filled with joy, camaraderie

Organiser's Description
Join Open Door Community for a fun-filled day. Starting with a 5K in the town of Wytheville at the Open Door Cafe, crossing main street, and running down Reed Creek Rd over the Trestle Bridge. All proceeds of the 5K support Open Door Community's mission to house and feed our neighbors.
After the 5K, join us from 12 - 6 for a co-branded hosting of the Brews and Bands festival. This will be held at the Open Door Cafe in partnership with the Wythe Arts Council. The event will feature local musicians, brews, food, and kid activities, such as obstacle courses, bounce houses, and much more!
Refreshments will be provided free of charge at the start and finish line of the 5K. There will be awards for top three overall in male and female categories.

FOR SERIOUS AND CASUAL RUNNERS 10 AND UP - CHIP TIMED The Stuffed Strut begins at 9 am on May 17th in downtown Wytheville, at the Open Door Caf'e. The route will start out relatively flat, turning onto 10th street and making its way onto Reed Creek Rd down to the Truss Bridge Park and returning via Reed Creek Rd, 6th street, and Spring St. . Parking is available at the Caf'e, next door at the Open Door Community building, and across Main Street in a church parking lot. On-site registration opens at 7:45 am. We will serve refreshments immediately after the run's conclusion. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers overall will be awarded, along with race shirts for all chip timed participants. -
Kid's Fun Run

FOR CHILDREN UNDER 10 The 1 mile Fun Run is a dedicated route for kids that begins at 9:30 am so as not to overlap with the main event. Children watching their parents/guardians run can participate after the race, or and adult runner can join their child for a cool-down walk. Kids under 5 register for free. Children 5-9 register for $15. -
