Get ready for a tail-wagging good time at the 2nd annual Festival of PAWS on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025! This exciting event takes place at the beautiful Ohio University Zanesville/Zane State Campus in Zanesville, Muskingum. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun day out with your furry friend, you can choose between a challenging 5K timed run or a family-friendly 1-mile untimed fun run/walk. Both events are open to participants of all skill levels, so bring your four-legged companions, doggie strollers, and even costumes to join in the festivities!
The race kicks off at 12:00 PM, with packet pickup and race day registration starting at 11:00 AM at the Rogge Pavilion. Enjoy the scenic, tree-lined jogging trail of the Collegial Woods as you support a great cause—proceeds will benefit the building fund for a future spay/neuter clinic! Runners will be rewarded with finishers medallions, and the top male and female finishers in the 5K will earn awards in various age categories. Join us on Saturday May 3rd 2025 for the 2nd annual Festival of PAWS. Bring the whole family including your four-legged loved ones, out to support Paws of Muskingum County. Choose the 5k timed run or the family friendly 1 mile untimed fun run/walk. Runners, walkers and four legged best friends of all skill levels are welcome. Small doggie strollers, costumes and best dressed attire also welcome and encouraged. ALL PROCEEDS RAISED AT THIS EVENT WILL SUPPORT THE BUILDING FUND FOR OUR FUTURE SPAY NEUTER CLINIC.

Participants will start at the Rogge Pavilion, behind OUZ / Zane State, and enjoy the tree lined Collegial Woods jogging trail and the beauty of the Ohio University Zanesville/Zane State Campus.

PACKET PICK-UP & RACE DAY REGISTRATION:

AWARDS:
5K - Awards will be issued to the top one Male and Female overall finishers and medals will be awarded to the top one male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ Walkers are welcome! All Participants will receive a finishers Medalion.
1 MILE FUN RUN/WALK - Will not be eligible for Overall or Age group awards. T-Shirts will not be available for 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. All Participants will receive a finishers Medalion. Family based pricing available.
FINISH LINE PERKS:
Finish line snacks, beverage and dog treats will be available at the conclusion of the race.
