ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24TH, START YOUR DAY WITH A 5K TRAIL RUN OR ONE MILE FUN RUN, THEN STAY FOR A FULL DAY OF FAMILY FUN: FOOD TRUCKS, MUSIC, AND SCIENCE ACTIVITIES. THE LOCATION IS THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI FIELD STATION. THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI FIELD STATION IS A 787-ACRE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION COMPLEX LOCATED IN ABBEVILLE, MISSISSIPPI, JUST 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF OXFORD. THE STATION FEATURES A UNIQUE V-SHAPED VALLEY SURROUNDED BY WOODED HILLS, SPRING-FED PONDS, AND NATIVE WETLANDS.
