Get ready for an exhilarating experience at the 2026 Lane Purser Memorial Road Race Series, taking place in the vibrant city of Memphis, Shelby! Kicking off on Sunday, July 12, 2026, and continuing through Saturday, November 14, 2026, this exciting event features a diverse lineup of races perfect for runners of all levels. Participants can challenge themselves with two 5K races in July at Cancer Survivors Park, followed by two 5-milers in August at W.J. Freeman Park. As the series progresses, runners will tackle two 10K races in September at Shelby Farms Park, and two 10-milers in October at Meeman Shelby Forest State Park. The grand finale includes two half marathons at Martyrs Park, with the second half marathon taking place on a Saturday morning at 8:30 AM, ensuring a fantastic weekend for all. Join us for an unforgettable journey filled with camaraderie, community spirit, and the thrill of racing in beautiful Memphis!

The 5Ks are located at Audubon Park near the Cancer Memorial on Perkins. There is plenty of parking on the grass north of the Botanic Gardens off Cherry Rd. You may also park in the field located at the northeast corner of Audubon Park (intersection of Southern and Perkins extended). Please look to the volunteers in the Hi Viz vests to assist you. Please do not park on the grass at Theatre Memphis. -
