Get ready to celebrate Independence Day at the 11th Annual Firecracker 4 Miler on July 4th, 2025, in beautiful Mt. Pleasant, Charleston! This exciting event will take place at the scenic Laurel Hill County Park, where runners can enjoy a festive atmosphere while traversing the shaded trails. With a challenging 4-mile race, participants will have the chance to push their limits while soaking in the vibrant community spirit. After the race, join in the fun with music, delicious hotdogs, and refreshing beverages, perfect for unwinding with friends and family.
Race packets will be available on-site starting at 7:30 AM, with the Kids race kicking off around 9:45 AM or 10 AM after the main event concludes. Remember to stay hydrated, as the summer heat can be intense! Access to the park is through the Hwy 41 entrance at 1400 Highway 41, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Plus, your participation helps support Newberry College Track & Field and Cross Country programs, so come out, run, and make a difference while enjoying a memorable day of fitness and fun!

The 11th Annual Firecracker 4 Miler will once again be held at the beautiful Laurel Hill County Park in Mount Pleasant South Carolina on July 4th, 2025! Past years events have been a blast, and this years event will be even better! So come on out and celebrate your independence by running down the shaded trails of Laurel Hill County Park and after the race enjoying music, hotdogs, and cold beverage with all your friends and family.

* Kids race will begin after the bulk of the 4 mile runners are in... usually around 9:45am or 10am
* HYDRATE!!! It will be hot and muggy... get your fluids in before you race
