This exciting event kicks off at Lynn Baldwin Memorial Park, with registration starting at 6:30 am and the race beginning at 7:30 am. The 5K course is designed to be fast and flat, perfect for runners and walkers of all ages, and is stroller-friendly for families looking to enjoy a day out together.
Not only will you have a great time participating in a fun and supportive atmosphere, but you’ll also be contributing to a wonderful cause, as proceeds will benefit youth activities in Canton-Galva. With awards for the top male and female finishers, as well as age group winners ranging from 12 and under to 66 and up, there’s plenty of opportunity to celebrate your achievements. The Galva Recreation is hosting the 13th annual Firecracker 5K Run/Walk in order to raise funds to assist Canton-Galva youth activities.
Registrations begins at 6:30 am and race start time is at 7:30 am. The race begins at Lynn Baldwin Memorial Park.
The 5k run/walk will be on concrete and paved roads in the city limits of Galva, KS. This family-friendly run/walk course is fast, flat, stroller friendly and suitable for all ages.
Awards will be given to the top male and female finisher, as well as the top male and female finisher in each age division.
Age divisions: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 55-65, 66 & up
