This exciting event kicks off on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Halyburton Park, with subsequent races on June 25 at Hanover Pines Park and wrapping up on July 30 at Long Leaf Park, all starting at 7:00 PM. Join fellow running enthusiasts for this three-race series that promises not only competition but also community spirit and fun!
Participants will have the chance to compete for awards in both the Men's and Women's categories for each race, as well as for the overall series winners. Plus, all runners who complete the entire series will receive a custom race t-shirt and be entered into a special drawing for free entries to the Seaside Shuffle 5K in October! Best of all, the Firefly 5K is free for everyone, with a suggested $5 donation to support the Wilmington Road Runners Scholarship Program. Organiser's Description
Join the Wilmington Road Runners Club for the Firefly 5K. A three race series that will take place across New Hanover County this summer. All races will take place on the last Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
MAY 28, HALYBURTON PARK, 7:00 PM
JUNE 25, HANOVER PINES PARK, 7:00 PM
JULY 30, LONG LEAF PARK, 7:00 PM _(followed by a social at The Brewers Kettle)_
