Join us for the 8th Annual Fitzy 5K Fun Run/Walk on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, at FitzGerald Elementary School in Waltham, Middlesex! Participants of all ages can enjoy a scenic 5K run or walk while supporting over 350 FitzGerald students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Kick off the festivities with pre-race stretching and upbeat music starting at 5:30 PM, followed by the race at 6:00 PM. After crossing the finish line, celebrate with ice-cold treats and exciting raffles hosted by the FitzGerald PTO. Every step you take contributes to vital enrichment programs, field trips, and special experiences that enrich our school community. Come out and make a difference while having a blast at this feel-good event!

Join us on THURSDAY, MAY 28TH for FITZGERALD ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS 8TH ANNUAL FITZY 5K FUN RUN/WALKan exciting, feel-good event the whole family will love! Families and friends from across Waltham and neighboring communities come together for an evening full of energy, connection, and funall in support of more than 350 FitzGerald students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Every step you take helps fund enrichment programs, field trips, author visits, and special experiences that make our school community so vibrant. If youre able, please also consider making a donation to the FitzGerald PTO to further support these opportunities.
On race day, head to FitzGerald Elementary School (138 Beal Rd, Waltham) for pre-race stretching and upbeat music starting at 5:30 PM, with the race kicking off at 6:00 PM. Then stick around for ice-cold treats and exciting raffles hosted by the FitzGerald PTO!
