Choose between a 1.4-mile route or a shorter 0.6-mile option, making it perfect for all ages and fitness levels. To add to the holiday spirit, all participants will don a full Santa suit and have the chance to win fabulous raffle prizes from local businesses, including Fleet Feet, Decatur Brew Works, and more!
Not only will you experience the joy of running through a festive parade route, but you'll also be giving back to the community by bringing an unwrapped Christmas gift or a monetary donation for the DOVE INC. Care and Share Program. With limited spots available for this merry event (only 100 participants!), be sure to secure your spot early for just $25 (or $30 after December 1st). Organiser's Description
The Santa Shuffle is here and we will lead The Decatur Christmas Parade again! We will follow the route a few minutes before the parade and loop back around to run down Water St. back to Decatur Brew Works. 1.4 mile run or .6 mile walk.
All participants will be entered in a secret Santa drawing.
We will be selling raffle tickets! Raffles included amazing packages from Fleet Feet, Decatur Brew Works, Decatur Coffee Connection, Papa Murphy's Pizza and a pair of shoes from Brooks Running!
All participants will receive a full Santa suit! Yes, that's right, A FULL SANTA SUIT!
LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT!!!!
100 PERSON CAP!
$25 per participant ($30 December 1st and after)
ALL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING AN UNWRAPPED CHRISTMAS GIFT AND/OR MONETARY DONATION for DOVE INC. CARE AND SHARE PROGRAM.

Santa Suit pick up can be done in the days before at Fleet Feet.
Wed 12/3 Noon-6p
Thurs 12/4 Noon- 6pm
Fri 12/5 Noon-6 pm.
Last minute suit pick up will be Sat 12/7 3-3:25pm at Decatur Brew Works.
The parade is going on at around the same time. If you want to leave soon after the event, park on the outside of the parade route.
We will plan on meeting at Decatur Brew Works and walking over together @3:30 to the start area in front of the Law Enforcement Center on Franklin St. and start a few minutes before the parade starts.
This is a fun run/walk that will follows most of the parade route. It is not timed, just bragging rights.
SOME ROADS WILL BE CLOSED.
But always pay attention.
ALL PARTICIPANTS UNDER 18 MUST BE SUPERVISED!
We have a 1.4 mile route. Little shorter than other years, but doing it on a closed route with a crowd will be fun.
