Get into the festive spirit with the Fleet Feet Santa Shuffle on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 in Decatur, Macon. This year's event includes a special twist as participants will lead The Decatur Christmas Parade, running a 1.4 mile route or walking a .6 mile route. After the fun run or walk, join the post-run party at Decatur Brew Works with snacks and food available for purchase. All participants will be entered into a secret Santa drawing and have the chance to win raffle prizes from Fleet Feet, Decatur Brew Works, Decatur Coffee Connection, Papa Murphy's Pizza, and Brooks Running. Limited spots are available for this event, so sign up early for $25 per participant. Remember to bring an unwrapped Christmas gift or monetary donation for DOVE INC. Care and Share Program. Organiser's Description
The Santa Shuffle is here again with a little different twist. This year we will lead The Decatur Christmas Parade! We will follow the route a few minutes before the parade and loop back around to run down Water St. back to Decatur Brew Works. 1.4 mile run or .6 mile walk.
All participants may join in for post run party at Decatur Brew Works. We will have snacks and food, but you have to buy your own drinks. All participants will be entered in a secret Santa drawing.
We will be selling raffle tickets! Raffles included amazing packages from Fleet Feet, Decatur Brew Works, Decatur Coffee Connection, Papa Murphy's Pizza and a pair of shoes from Brooks Running!
All participants will receive a full Santa suit! Yes, that's right, A FULL SANTA SUIT!
LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT!!!!

ALL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING AN UNWRAPPED CHRISTMAS GIFT AND/OR MONETARY DONATION for DOVE INC. CARE AND SHARE PROGRAM.

Santa Suit pick up can be done in the days before at Fleet Feet.
Wed 12/4 Noon-6p
Thurs 12/5 Noon- 6pm
Fri 12/6 Noon-6 pm.
Last minuite suit pick up will be Sat 12/7 3-3:25pm at Decatur Brew Works.
The parade is going on at around the same time. If you want to leave soon after the event, park on the outside of the parade route.
We will plan on meeting at Decatur Brew Works and walking over together @3:30 to the start area in front of the Law Enforcement Center on Franklin St. and start a few minutes before the parade starts.
This is a fun run/walk that will follows most of the parade route. It is not timed, just bragging rights.
SOME ROADS WILL BE CLOSED.
But always pay attention.
ALL PARTICIPANTS UNDER 18 MUST BE SUPERVISED!
We have a 1.4 mile route. Little shorter than other years, but doing it on a closed route with a crowd will be fun.
