Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and community as the 7th Annual Fort Lee 5K - Running for Our Youth takes place on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the beautiful Fort Lee, Bergen. This vibrant event features a USATF certified fast and flat 5K run, along with a fun and engaging One Mile Fun Run/Walk, perfect for participants of all ages. The fun run/walk kicks off at 9:00 AM sharp, followed by the 5K at 9:30 AM.
Join in the festivities as the award ceremony begins at 10:30 AM, celebrating the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as special awards for first responders and age categories broken down every five years, starting from ages 0-9. Don't forget to pick up your race packet, available from 7:30 AM on race day and also on June 20th at the community center. Register by June 13th to guarantee your official T-shirt and be part of this fantastic event, where all proceeds go towards supporting the youth in Fort Lee. Organiser's Description
Fort Lee PBA Local 245 will be hosting it's 7th annual Fast and Flat 5k Run and One Mile Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025 at 9:00AM. The USATF certified course will be held on Fort Lee's famous Abbott Blvd. The 1 mile fun run/walk will start 9:00am sharp followed by the 5K at 9:30am.
Award ceremony will begin at 10:30am. Awards will be given out to 1st 2nd and 3rd overall male/female as well as first place only for first responder male/female and ages broken down every five years after ages 0-9.
Packet pickup begins at 7:30 AM onsite. Packet pickup will also be held Friday June 20th from 4pm-7pm at the community center (1355 Inwood Terrace).
T-Shirts will only be guaranteed to participants who register by June 13th. 5K entry fee will be $30 on race day, credit card only accepted. Same day registration will be conducted through a QR code. Please have a smart phone to scan QR code to register on race day. No cash or check will be accepted for race day registrations.
