The fun kicks off with the Kids Fun Run at 8:00 a.m., followed by the main 5K race at 9:00 a.m. at the scenic New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam Park. Whether you're running or walking, everyone is welcome, including strollers and wheelchairs. Enjoy a day filled with community spirit, vendors offering refreshments, and awards for top finishers in various age categories. Sign up to run on Augusta Regional Airport's runway during the 2025 Run the Runway! This unique 5K and Kids Fun Run is sure to give you an unforgettable running experience unlike any other 5K in the area!
AGS strives to be a strong community partner in unique and impactful ways. This year, AGS will host its 4th Annual Run the Runway event, benefiting BreatheStrong CF [https://breathestrongcf.org/], a local non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals living with Cystic Fibrosis. BreatheStrong CF supports the Augusta River Region by providing education, direct assistance, and wellness opportunities to those affected. This program was chosen as our beneficiary due to the significant role it plays in our community. Cystic Fibrosis impacts many local residents, and without this vital resource, they would be forced to seek financial and other support outside the area. AGS is proud to partner with such an essential organization to strengthen and uplift our community.
Early Registration is $30.00. Children 8-12 are $25.00. Children 7 and under are $10.00. Children 7 and under will be able to participate in a fun run and will receive a t-shirt as well. Prices will increase on February 16, 2025. Must register by March 3, 2025, to guarantee a race t-shirt.

PACKET PICK UP: Packet pickup will be at Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Furys Ferry Rd, Augusta GA, from 4PM to 6PM on Friday March 14th.
THERE WILL BE NO DAY OF RACE PACKET PICK UP! You or someone you designate must pick up your race packet during packet pickup the day before the race.
DAY OF EVENT DETAILS:
Race Location: The race will be located on Lock and Dam Rd, Augusta, GA 30906. Please follow directional signage.
The address is New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam Park, 2116 Lock & Dam Rd. Augusta, GA 30906. Overflow parking will be available on the day of. Golf cart shuttles will be available.
Start/Finish: The race has a hard start time of 8:00 a.m. for the Fun Run and the 5k will have a hard start of 9:00 a.m. and finish at Augusta Regional Airport & Lock and Dam Park. This route will be primarily concrete with some gravel and dirt.
Vendors will be onsite to provide water, fruit, and giveaways.
Only service animals will be allowed.
You may run or walk. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed.
There is no rain day alternate.
