This exciting event features two race distances: a 5K run/walk and a 10K run, both taking place on flat, low-traffic farm roads that provide a scenic backdrop for participants of all ages.
Kick off the festivities with the FREE Kids' Half-Mile Run for children aged 8 and under, starting at 9:15 a.m. Participants are encouraged to register in person by 9:00 a.m. The main races will commence at 10:00 a.m. for the 5K and 10:05 a.m. for the 10K, where runners will have the chance to "Beat the Turkey," with Tom Turkey starting five minutes later! After crossing the finish line, enjoy delicious food, refreshments, and the chance to win a pumpkin pie. Every participant will receive a finisher's medal, and special awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers. Join fellow runners and make unforgettable memories at this festive community event!

We offer two distances: a 5K run/walk and a 10K run. Both courses are run on flat, low-traffic farm roads in the Skagit Valley.

FREE KIDS' HALF-MILE RUN
The half-mile kids' run for those 8 years and under starts promptly at 9:15 a.m. This fun run is free, but children must be registered in person by 9:00 a.m.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
8 am - 8:25 am: Volunteers set up
8:25 am - 9:30 am: Day of race registration
8:25 am - 9:30 am: Check in for pre-registered participants
9:15 am: 1/2 mile kids' run start
10 am: 5K & 10K start
10:05 am: Turkey begins the 10K
Noon: Both courses close
PACKET PICK-UP: 1-5pm Friday, November 14th at Skagit Running Company (724 S 1st St, Mount Vernon, WA 98273)
DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION: Please arrive early if you plan to register on the morning of the race.
DAY OF RACE PACKET PICK-UP: Pre-registered participants may pick up their bib numbers starting at 8:25 a.m. on race morning.
FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS: Food, refreshments and awards will be available after the race.
AWARDS: Every participant will receive a finishers medal. Special awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers.
BEAT THE TURKEY! Tom Turkey will be starting the 10K five minutes after the gun. Finish the 10K ahead of him and receive a special award at the finish line!
