The festivities kick off at 7:30 AM with a lively performance by the UW-Madison Marching Band, setting the tone for an exciting day. The 1/4-mile Kids Run starts at 7:40 AM, followed by the main event, the 5K Run/Walk, which begins at 8 AM. Participants will enjoy a scenic route through downtown Kaukauna, passing iconic landmarks like the Kaukauna Library and the beautiful Fox River.
All finishers will be rewarded with a Finisher Medal and an American flag, making it a memorable experience for everyone. After the race, indulge in delicious apple pie and soak in the festive atmosphere while celebrating our nation's birthday. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual run option will be available from July 4 to July 8, allowing participants to submit their times online. At 7:40am, the 1/4-mile Kids Run begins. Then at 8am, the 5K participants will take to the streets of downtown Kaukauna and enjoy the views of the Kaukauna Library and the Fox River.
