FINAL UPDATE ON JULY 31ST**

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SIGNED UP OR DONATED! EVEN WITH A SMALL EVENT, EVERY DOLLAR GOES A LONG WAY TOWARDS OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE KIDS.

1. If you didn't grab your bib already, you can grab it in the morning at the registration/timing tent that will be right next to the finish arch!

2. Parking on race day: BIG CHANGE HERE. LCU will NOT be opening the main gate off of Frankford. You will have to park in the dirt parking lot next to the pavilion, or further back into LCU's campus. To access this area, you can come into LCU's campus off of 19th St and go down Eileen Blvd. Wind through campus until you reach the Facilities building, then turn right into the dirt parking lot. Another way in is off of Chicago. You can turn West onto 26th Street off of Chicago and it will take you straight to the venue. An address you can type in is 2602 Eileen Blvd. That will get you pretty close! I'm sending an email with a map attached. If you didn't receive the e-mail and need a map, email me through Runsignup.

3. Rain is expected tonight, so if that happens the course will be wet and potentially muddy in some spots. True cross country! Just be prepared for that.

4. Medals will be awarded to overall and age group winners. To claim your medal, simply come by the registration tent after the race, and we will search your bib number and give your medal on the spot. No waiting until the end to read off awards.

5. We WILL be combining all 1 mile runners into just one race at 8:45. We will restructure the age groups because of this.

6. The registration and donation link will remain open all the way up until 7:30 on race day, so please continue to share and invite others! Every dollar goes a long way!



What better way to welcome August than with a summer sendoff cross country event! This will be hosted at the incredible LCU Cross Country course, the same course where the Big 12 Championship and NCAA regionals have been run! There will be 3 races offered. There will be a traditional cross country 3 mile open to all ages 12+, an open 1 mile for all ages and ability levels (even walkers!), and a 1 mile that is only for kids age 11 and under. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go towards our Lubbock Area Elementary Running program.

Registration will be open all the way up until the morning of the race. It must be completed by 7:30 a.m. on race day to receive a bib for chip timing. There's no limit on the number of participants.

Bib pick-up location is still TBD. You will also be able to pick it up on race day up until 7:30.

** For the 3 mile, we will do the green loop first around the lake, and then do the final 2 miles. The course will be the same as pictured, though.
