About Us:
The League of Mexican American Women (LMAW) is a community-based organization that was first established in Fresno County in 1973. The League of Mexican American Women supports efforts that promote education, cultural identity, and leadership development. Our active membership is made up of Latinas spanning a wide range of stages in life which helps give our organization its rich diversity of thought.
Goal:
This year marks LMAWs 50th anniversary in the community and in that time, we have awarded over $600,000 to students in Fresno County! Our goal this year is to raise additional funds for our scholarship program, increasing the amount of scholarships we award to students in 2024. Please come and join us for a day of friends, family, fun, and fitness! Frida Fun Run welcomes walkers and runners of all levels. We looked forward to seeing you out there!
