Join us for the Annual Run for Life on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Granite Hills High School in Porterville, Tulare! This exciting event, hosted by the Porterville Breakfast Rotary Club, is not just a race; it's a celebration of life and community spirit. Participants can choose from various race distances, whether you're a runner or a walker, all while supporting a wonderful cause. Proceeds from the event benefit the Roger S. Good Cancer Treatment Center at Sierra View Medical Center, helping to provide crucial services such as cancer support groups, screenings, and educational materials.
This year, we honor the courageous lives of Jerry Swartzlander, Julie Hargis, and Maria Felix Hernandez de Carmona. After the race, enjoy a fantastic cooldown session led by local yoga instructor Elizabeth Dieterle RYT, followed by delicious pancakes and beverages courtesy of The Porterville Runners Club and Stafford's Chocolates. Each registrant will receive a stylish short sleeve t-shirt and a finisher's medal, with awards presented to the top male and female finishers in various age categories. Please join the Porterville Breakfast Rotary Club at the Annual Run for Life at Granite Hills High School. Proceeds from this event will be used to support the Roger S. Good Cancer Treatment Center at Sierra View Medical Center. With these funds, the Cancer Treatment Center is able to attend or host cancer support groups, yearly prostate screenings, a survivor's dinner, health fairs and several other community outreach projects along with the purchase of educational materials. The event recognizes and honors the lives of those who are bravely battling or have lost their fight with cancer.

As the runners and walkers come in, the fun continues. Flow into an unbeatable cooldown, led by our incredible local yoga instructor Elizabeth Dieterle RYT. Then fuel up with some tasty pancakes and an array of delicious beverages provided by The Porterville Runners Club and Stafford's Chocolates.
Each registrant will receive a short sleeve t-shirt and a finisher's medal.* Awards will be given to Male and Female for both the run and the walk 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the following age groups: 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Prize for 1st Male finisher and 1st Female finisher.
