Get ready for a day of fun and fitness at the Friends of the Poor 5K Walk/Run & Kiddy-K, taking place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the picturesque Owings, Calvert. This exciting event features a 5K timed run along the scenic Jesus the Good Shepherd trail, known for its fast, mostly flat terrain with a few wooded sections to enjoy. For our younger participants, the Kiddy-K offers a delightful fun run for children aged 10 and under, ensuring that everyone can be part of the action!

Participants will not only compete for glory, as awards will be presented to the overall top male and female finishers, along with prizes for the leading runners in each age bracket.
