FRIGID is a winter adventure-style run held at Carter Caves in eastern Kentucky. Participants collect on and off-trail checkpoints, choosing their own routes and pace throughout the event.
The course is beginner-friendly and low-key while still offering a unique challenge for experienced runners. A free pre-race navigation clinic is included, and kids race free. Expect cold-weather running, route choice, a hot post-race meal, thick neck gaiter and a supportive community atmosphere focused on getting outside and embracing winter conditions.
