Join us for a delightful day of community spirit at the Frostick Chili Trot and Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, November 8th, 2026, in Croswell, Sanilac! This exciting event features a fun 2-mile run/walk that kicks off at 2:00 PM, making it the perfect opportunity for participants of all ages to get active while supporting the Frostick Elementary PTO. Whether you choose to run or walk, enjoy a scenic route starting from Frostick Elementary, winding through the picturesque bike path along M-90, and back to the school.
As you cross the finish line, the fun continues with the Chili Cook-Off beginning at 2:15 PM in the Frostick Elementary Cafeteria. With your registration, you'll receive a wristband for free entry to sample an array of delicious chili and help crown the top three favorites! Don’t miss your chance to snag a winter hat or headband if you’re among the first 100 registrants. Bring your friends and family, as registering four or more participants earns you a $5 discount! **TIME CHANGE**
THE RACE WILL BEGIN AT 2:00PM, WITH THE CHILI COOK-OFF BEGINNING AT 2:15PM (SET UP AT 1:45PM).
Come on out to support the Frostick Elementary PTO! Participants can either run or walk the 2 mile event. Register 4 or more people and receive an automatic $5 discount!!
The run/walk will start at the front of Frostick Elementary and head to the sidewalk on Howard, then take a right on Sanborn to the trail by the duck pond and continue to follow the bike path along M-90, then turn right on the sidewalk on Howard and back to the school. This is a fun run, so it will not be timed. However, we do plan to have a clock at the end of the race so each person can see their time.
First 100 registered participants will receive either a winter hat or headband. ALL participants will receive a wristband for FREE entry to the Chili Cook-Off to sample the chili. After your run, enjoy some delicious chili and vote for your top 3 favorites. Winners of the Chili Cook-Off will receive a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place trophy. There will be a $5 fee for non-race participants to sample the Chili, which will be collected at the door.
Chili-Cook off will begin at 2:15pm with set up beginning at 1:45pm in the Frostick Elementary Cafeteria and end around 4:00pm, at which time we will announce the winners.
Packet Pick-Up will be on race day starting at 1:00pm. Same day registration will be available (hat/headband give away not guaranteed).
Parking will be at Frostick Elementary and Geiger.
