Get ready for an exhilarating day of adventure at the FTC Short and Long Trail Run on Saturday, September 12, 2026, taking place in the stunning Syracuse, Onondaga! This exciting event offers two fantastic race options that cater to all levels of runners: a 3.8-mile route and a longer 8.3-mile challenge. Both races will kick off from the North Entrance of the San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park, where participants will enjoy the beauty of Florida’s trails while competing for glory.
With awards for overall male and female winners, as well as the top three in 10-year age groups, this is a great opportunity to push your limits and celebrate your achievements! After the race, participants can refuel with refreshments and snacks while mingling with fellow runners. Don’t forget, parking is just $4 per vehicle, $2 per bicycle, and free for Florida State Park Pass holders. Join us for a day filled with fun, fitness, and the thrill of the outdoors at the FTC Short and Long Trail Run!

WE'RE HEADING BACK TO THE SAN FELASCO HAMMOCK PRESERVE STATE PARK [https://maps.app.goo.gl/oxxHVe8idGUnmJug6]WITH TWO OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM. A 3.8 MILE ROUTE AND AN 8.3 MILE ROUTE. BOTH THE RACE WILL START AT THE NORTH ENTRANCE TO THE PARK ALONG PROGRESS BLVD (THE ALACHUA SIDE) AND MAKE A LOOP ALONG THE BEAUTIFUL TRAILS. THIS IS A FLORIDA STATE PARK SO THERE IS A FEE TO PARK. $4 PER VEHICLE, $2 PER BICYCLE/WALK-IN FREE FOR FL STATE PARK PASS HOLDERS.
