Sulzbacher, Northeast Florida’s largest comprehensive services provider for at risk men, women, and children, is looking for people to break a sweat to help strengthen its housing programs. The Functional Fitness Challenge fundraiser is June 6, 2026, at the University of North Florida (UNF}’s RecWell Field.
The event brings together participants of all fitness levels to compete in a series of team-based functional fitness workouts for a fun-filled day of athletic competition that directly supports Sulzbacher’s housing division.
The challenge features an Elite Functional Fitness competitive division, an Open Individual Functional Fitness Challenge and free Family Fitness Challenge half mile fun run. Entry for the three-mile course with 10 work out obstacles is $60 per person.
All participants receive medals, and all paying participants receive summer tank tops. The event also includes a DJ and refreshments.
