This exciting event is designed to support homeless pets through the Humane Society of Jefferson County. Participants can look forward to a fun, family- and dog-friendly atmosphere with a beautiful flat course that caters to both beginners and seasoned runners alike.
Kick off the day with packet pick-up and registration starting at 8 AM, followed by a warm welcome at 8:50 AM. The race begins at 9 AM, and you'll have the chance to celebrate with awards at 9:45 AM. Don't miss the chance for your little ones to join in the fun with the KidK Obstacle Run/Walk, perfect for ages 1 to 6, starting at 10:15 AM. With an array of engaging activities and a medal for every participant, this event promises to be a tail-wagging good time! Be sure to register early to secure your shirt and medal, and get ready to make a difference for our furry friends in need!

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT THE ANNUAL FURRY FRIENDS 5K. Join the race to help homeless pets at the Humane Society of Jefferson Countys 13th Annual Furry Friends 5K Run/Walk. What can you expect? A safe, tail-wagging experience that is fun for everyone! This family- and dog-friendly event will take place at the Jefferson County Fair Park with a beautiful flat scenic course that ensures first time walkers and runners can comfortably participate alongside the more serious runners.
