This unique event invites participants to push their limits by completing as many 3-mile laps as they can every 45 minutes, with a total of 12 laps possible for an incredible 36 miles! The challenge kicks off at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m. at the Game Changers Running Company store in Red Fern Village, following the popular Monday night route.
Runners will have a chance to earn entries into a drawing for a free pair of shoes from Game Changers with each lap completed, plus compete for the coveted title of Overall Winner. The event is designed for those looking to challenge themselves while supporting a great cause, as proceeds benefit local animal shelters. With nutrition and hydration stations set up throughout the day, participants can focus on their performance and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow runners. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit on St. Simons Island!

Game Changers Running Company St. Simons and the Golden Isles Track Club Presents the 3rd Annual 5k Repeater Challenge!
The Challenge: Run as many 3-mile laps every 45 minutes as you can. If you complete all 12 laps, that will be 36 miles
12 x 45 minute 3 miles laps
8:00 a.m. Start
5:00 p.m. End of last lap
Laps begin and end at the Game Changers Running Company store in Red Fern Village, the route will be the Monday night usual route.
For each lap completed you will receive 1 or more entries to a drawing for 1 pair of free pair of shoes from Game Changers.
For example:
Lap 1 = 1 entry
Lap 2 = 2 entries
Lap 3 = 3 entries
Note:
To earn drawing entries, you must start at 8 a.m. and run the laps consecutively.
You can come after 8 a.m. to run laps but will not receive drawing entries.
-$10 fee +registration fee
* Overall Winner will receive:
* a free pair of shoes from Gamae Changers Running Company
* a trophy sponsored by the Golden Isles Track Club
* This is the only award for this event. The Overall winner is the runner who
* A: Completes the most laps
* B: completes them the fastest in case of a tie.
-No shirts or age group awards
-A SWAG Bag for anyone who completes the challenge
-Encourage the use of Strava or Garmin to log the miles
-We will have a clock to track the 45 minutes per lap
-Must complete each 3-mile lap within 45 minutes
-Each runner begins the lap at the same time
-Will have nutrition & hydration throughout the day for participants
