Join the celebration at the 11th Annual Give 'Em the Bird 5K Run and 2K Walk on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the charming town of Easthampton, Hampshire! This exciting community event not only promotes fitness and fun but also supports a noble cause, as proceeds benefit the Easthampton Community Center. Last year's participants helped raise an impressive $35,000 to provide warm meals for families during the holiday season, and this year, we aim to match or surpass that generous total.
The 5K run/walk features a scenic flat to rolling course, winding through the picturesque mills and fields of Easthampton, starting and finishing at Millside Park. Runners will enjoy a well-marked route with volunteer support and an aid station near mile 2. For those looking for a lighter challenge, the 2K walk also begins and ends at Millside Park, taking participants south on a beautiful bike path. Don’t forget, if you want an event shirt, be sure to register by November 3, 2025! The morning kicks off with bib pick-up at 7:15 AM, followed by the race start at 8:30 AM and an awards ceremony around

We very excited to be able to hold the 11th Annual Community 5K run/walk (2K walk) to benefit the Easthampton Community Center this year!!.
The money raised by this event has ensured that hundreds of families will have a warm meal during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Last year's event with your help and the help from our sponsors we raised $35,000 and we hope to raise the same or more again this year.
THIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE!
The 5K run/walk course is a flat to rolling route past the mills and fields of Easthampton, starting and finishing at Millside Park. A course map can be found posted on the main page. The course will be well marked and staffed with volunteers. There is one aid station near mile 2. Approximately half of the course is on the rail trail closed to traffic and half is on rural roads that are open to traffic.
The 2K WALK ONLY starts and finishes at Millside Park the 2K walk will head south on the bike path towards Union Street and turn around BEFORE Union Street. The course will be well marked and staffed with volunteers.
If you would like an event shirt you must sign up before 11/03/25.
The schedule for the morning is as follows (give or take a few minutes):
