For those looking for a shorter yet equally challenging experience, the 5K Charge offers a 3+ mile race with 20 to 30 obstacles, perfect for both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike. Families can also join in the fun with the Junior/Parent 5K Gladiator Challenge, allowing kids ages 9 to 14 to tackle the same course alongside their parents. Every participant will leave with a finisher t-shirt, a Gladiator medal, refreshments at the finish line, and a celebratory beer (for those 21 and over). WHAT IS THE GLADIATOR ASSAULT CHALLENGE?
Gladiator Assault Challenge is the Midwest's premier test of endurance, speed, agility, strength, and mental stamina. Gladiator Assault Challenge obstacle courses are a series of physically challenging obstacles (some natural and some man-made) that individuals or teams must navigate. These courses will challenge you with running, climbing, jumping, crawling, balancing, and MUD with the aim of testing overall endurance.
WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS AT A GLADIATOR ASSAULT CHALLENGE?
* Full Gladiator Assault Challenge is a 5-7 mile race with 30+ physically challenging obstacles
* Elite Full Gladiator Challenge (1st heat of the day Saturday only) is a 5-7 mile race with 30+ physically challenging obstacles. Prizes given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in men's and women's divisions.
* 5K Charge is a condensed version of the Full Gladiator Assault Challenge consisting of 3+ mile race with 20 to 30 physically challenging obstacles
* Junior/Parent 5K Gladiator Challenge (last 3 heats of the day allowing juniors ages 9 to 14 to run with a parent) is the same course as the 5K Charge consisting of 3+ mile race with 20 to 30 physically challenging obstacles.
EACH PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A FINISHER T-SHIRT, GLADIATOR MEDAL, FINISH LINE FRUIT, AND ONE BEER (21 AND OVER). Within the week of the event we cannot guarantee you a finisher shirt or medal. Often, we have no-shows that will allow us to get you a shirt and/or medal on the day of the event. Please check at the registration table after 2 pm on the day you run.
JUNIORS IN THE JUNIOR/PARENT HEAT WILL ALWAYS ONLY BE $30 EACH! THE PARENT(S) IN THE JUNIOR/PARENT HEAT WILL ALWAYS BE THE GOING PRICE.
