Join us for the 17th Annual Johnston Health Gobble Waddle on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the charming town of Smithfield, Johnston! This exciting event features both a 5K and 10K timed run, as well as a fun walk that welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun family outing, this event is perfect for everyone, including strollers and friendly dogs on leashes.
As we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, participants are encouraged to bring at least five canned food items to support local food banks and the SECU Hospice House. With early packet pickup on November 21 and race day festivities kicking off at 8:00 AM, you'll have plenty of time to prepare for the 9:00 AM race start. Each entry includes a participant t-shirt, prizes for youth finishers, and post-race snacks. Don’t miss the chance to earn awards in various age categories and show off your team spirit! Join us for a day filled with community, gratitude, and fun as we waddle for a cause!

Organiser's Description
Welcome to 17th Annual Johnston Health Gobble Waddle event presented by HealthQuest Fitness and Wellness Center. It is a timed run and fun walk event for all ages and fitness levels definitely family, stroller, and dog friendly. Please remember that all dog participants must be friendly and on a fixed leash at all times. Owners must also be sure to clean up behind their dogs.
The Thanksgiving holiday is a time of giving and its important to remember those in our community who need your help. All participants are asked to bring at least five items of canned food to the event or drop them off at HealthQuest. Canned goods will be donated to our partner food bank agencies right here in our community as well as the SECU Hospice House.
All entry fees are non-refundable and include a participant t-shirt, finisher prize for youth under the age of 17, snacks, water, timer, and transaction fees. Preferred t-shirt sizes are not guaranteed for those registering after October 15.
