This historic race, themed around the Seaboard Railroad, takes participants on a scenic journey through a picturesque residential neighborhood adorned with rolling hills, making it a perfect blend of challenge and enjoyment.
Participants will not only have the chance to conquer a 5K distance but also to earn a custom Railroad/Halloween themed finisher's medal, awarded to the top 350 finishers. Exciting awards await the top three male and female finishers, as well as accolades for the top competitors in the Masters and Grandmasters divisions. With age group awards presented three deep in 10-year increments, there’s plenty of opportunity for everyone to shine. Following last year's record-breaking turnout of 333 registrations, this year's event promises to be even bigger and better. Organiser's Description
The 41st Annual Seaboard Festival 5K is a very historic Seaboard Railroad themed 5K that takes you through a residential neighborhood with rolling hills in downtown Hamlet NC. The top 350 finishers will receive a custom Railroad/Halloween themed finishers medal. Awards will also be given to the top 3 male and female finishers. Also the top male and female in the Masters and Grandmasters divisions. Age group awards will be awarded 3 deep in 10 year age groups. Last year we had a record-breaking 333 registrations and we look forward to surpassing that goal this year!

Top 350 finishers receive a custom finishers medal. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall male and female awards to be presented in addition to 1st thru 3rd age group awards in 10 year increments.
