Get ready for an exhilarating day at the first annual "Going Jurassic for the Trees!" event on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Madera. This exciting 5k run/walk hosted by Madera South FFA promises to be a fun-filled adventure that combines fitness with education about the vital role of agriculture in our community. Participants of all ages will be greeted by friendly dinosaurs from the Jurassic Era cheering you on as you navigate the course around campus.
Starting at 8:30 AM, the event kicks off with a special kids' race, followed by the mile and 5k races. Every participant will receive a unique Dinosaur Medal and a stylish T-shirt, and to make the day even more memorable, a fruit tree ready for planting will be available for all participants. Don’t forget about packet pickup starting at 7:20 AM at the start line on Pine Street – just look for the green arch marking the beginning and end of your journey. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit as we celebrate the importance of agriculture while having a roaring good time!

Madera South FFA would love to welcome you to our first annual 5k run/walk to encourage movement and learn a bit about what FFA and Agriculture does for the valley. Every runner will receive a Dinosaur Medal and a T-Shirt.
A fruit Tree ready to plant will be available for participants day of event.
While you run around campus you will see Dinosaurs from the Jurassic Era CHEERING/ROARING! for you as you catch your breath trying outrun them.
PACKET PICKUP WILL TAKE PLACE STARTING AT 7:20AM THE MORNING OF THE EVENT BY THE START LINE
PARKING- ENTER ON PINE GATE/ LOCATED ON PINE STREET THEN WALK OVER TOWARDS THE FARM YOU WILL SEE THE GREEN ARCH- IT IS OUR START/FINISH LINE.
