Grand Rapids Road Mile - Presented by Society Track Club

The Grand Rapids Road Mile - Presented by Society Track Club is a new event to Grand Rapids this year. We hope to only grow as the years go by we invite you to join us in person to create this new tradition. 
The 2024 Grand Rapids Road Mile will start at the corner of Wealthy and Front in downtown Grand Rapids Michigan. (use 700 Wealthy St SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504 in your GPS for our physical location) You can view the tentative routes (we are still working with the City of Grand Rapids to finalize the details) by clicking the distance.
Our race with begin with the mini mile at 8:00am followed by the mile race for the public ending with the elite mile for those who qualify.

About the Grand Rapids Road Mile:All participants receive a commemorative shirt.Spirit stations to CHEER YOU ONAn opportunity to PR YOUR MILE on the road.Lots of run clubs and local companies to check out before and after the race. 
Cash prizes for the top 3 finishers for each division (Elite / General Public) , overall masters winner and overall non binary winner.

 Volunteer!This is a great opportunity for school teams, families, and individuals to get involved and help our participants have an AMAZING race day experience. We will happily donate $100 to schools or non-profit groups that brings out 10 individuals.
Age Group Awards:1st place: $20 Gift Card2nd place: $10 Gift Card3rd place: Commemorative itemAge Groups start at 9 and under, then go every 5 years (ie: 10-14, 15-19....70-74, 75-79), until 80. 
Society Track Club will be providing a cash prize for each race (Elite / General Public) as laid out below:
Male/Female (Elite Division)1st place: $1502nd place: $1003rd place: $75

Overall Masters: $100Overall Non Binary: $100  
Overall prize winners will not be eligible to win age group awards.
