Both races kick off at 7:45 AM, starting from downtown Granville and following an out-and-back route along the picturesque Newark-Granville Road pedestrian/bike path.
Participants can look forward to race day packet pickup at Granville Elementary School, and every runner will receive a commemorative T-shirt—available on a first-come, first-served basis. Plus, trophies will be awarded to the top finishers in the 5-mile race, adding an extra thrill to the competition. Not only will you be part of an exhilarating community event, but you'll also be supporting the Rotary Foundation of Granville's charitable initiatives. Organiser's Description
Join us for the Granville Firecracker Five in 2024! Due to construction projects, we have a different race route this year. It is an out and back route starting in downtown Granville at 7:45 AM and head east on Broadway out the Newark-Granville Road pedestrian/bike path We will continue to offer a 5m timed race and a 5k untimed event for participants who wish to walk or run.
