Taking place in the charming town of Granville, Licking, this vibrant event kicks off at 7:45 AM with a scenic out-and-back route starting in downtown Granville. Choose from two thrilling race options: a timed 5 Mile race for competitive runners and an untimed 5K for those who prefer a leisurely walk or run. This year, we're thrilled to introduce a new 5 Mile Ruck division, complete with awards for top finishers!
Participants can pick up their race packets at Granville Elementary School, located at 310 N Granger St, Granville, OH 43023. All proceeds from this energetic event will support the Rotary Foundation of Granville and their impactful charitable initiatives. Don't miss your chance to grab a race day T-shirt, available on a first-come, first-served basis (sizes not guaranteed). Organiser's Description
Join us for the Granville Firecracker Five in 2026! The race route is an out and back starting in downtown Granville at 7:45 AM and head east on Broadway out the Newark-Granville Road pedestrian/bike path. We will continue to offer a 5 Mile timed race and a 5K untimed event for participants who wish to walk or run. NEW THIS YEAR, we will be offering a 5 Mile Ruck division with awards for the top finishers in that category.
