The Knox County Suicide Prevention Coalition will be hosting its sixteenth annual 5k/10k walk and run on September 12th at the Ariel Foundation Park, 10 Pittsburgh Avenue, Mount Vernon, Ohio, starting at 5:00 P.M.
Parking will be available at the Tower. Race day packet pickup and the start of the race will be at the Kiwanis Pavilion at 3:30.
THE EVENT WILL INCLUDE LIGHTING THE TOWER AND A MEMORIAL TO REMEMBER LOVED ONES AT APPROXIMATELY 7:15 P.M. Families and friends are encouraged to bring a picture to share. The walk and run aim to promote suicide awareness and support those who have lost loved ones or are grieving.
