Event summary
Kids aged 13 and under can join in the fun with a 1/4 mile Kids Fun Run beginning at 8:45 AM. All participants will receive a commemorative finisher medal (limited to the first 100 registered), while those in the 5K and 1-Mile Walk will also get a participant shirt. Proceeds from the event will support local township cemeteries and the Greenford Community Library. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate Memorial Day with a day of fitness and community spirit before the parade kicks off at 9:00 AM!
Organiser's Description
- Race day registration and packet pick-up takes place from 6:50am-7:50am.
- The 5K & 1-Mile Walk begin at 8:00am. The 5K is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.
- The Kids Fun Run (ages 13 & Under) takes place at 8:45am. The Kids Fun Run is 1/4 mile in distance.
- The start/finish line for all events is located in front of Big Reach Center of Hope (which is located across the parking lot from Greenford Christian Church.
- Restrooms are available inside of Greenford Christian Church.
- All events will take place before the Memorial Day parade which begins at 9:00am.
* Participants in all events receive a commemorative finisher medal (LIMITED TO THE FIRST 100 REGISTERED).
* Participants in the 5K & 1-Mile Walk receive a participant shirt.
* Participants in the Kids Fun Run can purchase a shirt additionally.
- Proceeds from the 5K & 1-Mile benefit the township cemeteries.
- Proceeds from the Kids Fun Run benefit the Greenford Community Library.
