This exciting event offers something for every runner with four race options: a challenging 12-mile run, an invigorating 8-mile run, a spirited 4-mile run, or a convenient virtual run option. The race features a scenic 4+ mile loop that showcases the park's diverse terrain, including dirt paths, asphalt surfaces, and rocky trails, making it a moderately technical challenge for participants.
The fun kicks off at 9:00 AM for the 12-mile and 8-mile runners, followed by the 4-mile race at 9:20 AM. All finishers will take home a custom medal, and the top three male and female runners in each distance will receive a beautifully crafted trophy. Don’t miss this chance to kick off your 2025 running season in style! Remember to pick up your packet at the park either the day before or on race day, and plan to arrive early to ensure a smooth experience. Organiser's Description
We will be hosting the 8th Annual Greenleaf Trail Run on Saturday, January 25, 2025. This run will have a distance for everyone with a 4 mile run, 8 mile run, 12 mile run, or a virtual option. The run will stay inside the park property. It will consist of a 4+ mile loop. The trail is considered a moderately technical trail. This year the trail will consist of dirt, asphalt, and rocky terrain.
SHIRT CUT OFF IS 1/1/25. YOU WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT AFTER THIS DATE.
You must have your packet picked up 10 minutes before the start. There will be no late starts. Due to the loop style course we need to stay strictly on time. Please make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to get your packet. If you would like to switch distances you will need to arrange that before your race starts. To keep things fair if you start your distance and want to drop that will result in a DNF. I'm sorry for this rule but we want to make it fair to the people that start each distance.
Due to rising mailing costs we will not mail no show packets.

PACKET PICK UP: There will be a packet pick up at the park the day before the race and race day.
CUT OFF TIME: The cut off time for all race distances is 2:00 pm.
ICE/SNOW WEATHER POLICY: The run will happen as scheduled regardless of temperatures, but if there is a snow or ice storm the week of the event that makes the trail difficult to run, we will do our best to reschedule in February. However if there are things beyond our control we will have to cancel the race. There will not be any refunds.
_IF THE RACE HAS TO BE CHANGED TO A VIRTUAL RACE DUE TO UNFORSEEN SURCUMSTANCES (COVID) EVERYONE WILL BE CONVERTED TO VIRTUAL RUNNERS AND PACKETS WILL BE MAILED OR WE WILL HAVE A PICK UP OPTION. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY REFUNDS. _
